Arbio I Lax Cozy Studio near Karl-Heine-Strasse

Positive: Top Lage Negative: Wohnung könnte ein paar kleine korrigierende Griffe gebrauchen. Schlechtes Bett, ungemütlich und laut. Gardinen nicht vollständig, also morgens sehr hell.

Very disappointing second experience. Positive: The location is great. Negative: I've been a guest of Arbio I Lax Apartments before. Considering how good the previous experience was, my expectations were high. Check-in was scheduled for 15:00. I arrived at 15:20 and could not find the keys in the box because the studio wasn't ready yet. The keys were handed to me by the cleaning staff. There was no electricity in the studio. I called customer service. An agent - who clearly doesn't know how the rooms/studios are arranged, couldn't help me locate the main fuse box. I had to find it myself. Once I turned the power switches on, I noticed that as soon as I plugged a device into the outlets (kettle, hair dryer, power bank, etc.), the power for the entire studio would cut out. This happened if the microwave was turned on or if I tried to use the stovetop. This electricity malfunctions spoiled some food I had put in the fridge. Customer service, whom I contacted again around 1:00 AM, offered me alternative accommodation an 11-minute drive away, an offer I declined as it wasn't worth for such a short stay. No wi-fi was available upon arrival. It became available in the very late evening. The studio was very dusty, bed included, old stains on the furniture and on the wooden floor. The shower panel couldn't seal completely when closed, causing a large amount of water to leak onto the floor. Previous guests had evidently used a ceramic small vase as an ashtray, and there was a lingering smell of stale cigarette smoke in the studio. There are no curtains in the studio. This results in a total lack of privacy, as well as making it simply impossible to sleep past 6:30 or 7:00 a.m., since there is no way to achieve even a minimum level of darkness in the room. One gets the impression that the studio owners want to drive guests away rather than welcome them: messages with check-out instructions and check-out times keep coming in, plus instructions on how to leave the studio provided on a laminated card inside the unit.

Zum Wohlfühlen, gerne wieder Positive: Kleines, praktisch und durchdacht eingerichtetes Apartment in ruhiger Hinterhoflage in buntem Studentenviertel, beste Anbindung an ÖPNV, kostenlose Parkplätze in nächster Nähe, Gastronomie,m Bäcker, Konsum etc um die Ecke. Kleiner Balkon mit Sitzgelegenheit,m schönes Bad mit großer Dusche. Negative: Nichts zu bemängeln
